Can LeBron James Have his Triple-Double Back Now?

It's good to have fans, I guess.
When the NBA disallowed one of LeBron James' rebounds, robbing him of his
much-celebrated triple-double in Madison Square Garden last week, one of his
fans went back through the tape.
Meticulously.
And found another play that certainly could pass as James' tenth rebound.
TrueHoop reader DB writes:
With 2:37 left in the first period LeBron briefly secured possession of a
missed shot by the Knicks' David Lee, a split second before Lee slapped the
ball out of bounds. Like the Ben Wallace rebound that was reviewed and
corrected, this play happened so quickly that it looked like LeBron never had
possession when Lee slapped it away, but he DID.
I looked up the play on Synergy video, and sure enough, it appears DB speaks
truth. James grabs the ball off the rim with two hands. After he has it for a
millisecond, Lee pokes it out of bounds.
Of course, this points out the absurdity of the triple double. Of all the
things LeBron James did in this game, is this really the moment when LeBron
James proved he was great?
To me, there's not much to it either way. And I certainly don't expect the
league to correct this again ... the liquid paper is still drying from the
last one.
But it's good enough for me. (And "almost triple double" is an annoying thing
to write.) So, if I ever refer to that game again, on the strength of this
millisecond of possession, I promise to just say James had a triple double.
